Hey guys, it’s me, the Elizabeth Johns intern Lauren checking back in to give you the report from bridal fashion week! We saw some amazing new trends from designers such as Anne Barge, Hayley Paige,  and Amsale that are an absolute must for your upcoming wedding. The three biggest trends I noticed were simple and sleek, off the shoulder gowns, and plunging necklines.

Wedding dress shopping can be daunting to any woman - the thought of trying on sample gowns in an unfamiliar place with a complete stranger can seem like a set up for failure. We are here to help change that mind set for brides of ALL sizes! 

Every bride knows your bridal gown is the star of the show, but what about all of the events in between? Most brides want to take advantage of their time in the bridal spotlight and wear white to all of their wedding related events - engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette, rehearsal, and even farewell brunch! Here at Elizabeth Johns, we have you covered! We have some of the cutest white dresses from some amazing designers, including the Amsale Little White dress collection which has not only dresses, but also jumpsuits! Fall has quickly become the most popular season to get married. With cooler temperatures and gorgeous foliage its no wonder brides and grooms alike have made this "The" season to get married. There are so many stunning options for a fall wedding, ranging from formal to boho and we are going to share our favorites with you!

New York Bridal Fashion Week predictions from our Intern Lauren!

Fall in the Bridal world is a very exciting time! Not only is it Bridal Market and New York Bridal Fashion Week in October, it's also a time when Visiting Collections are most popular here at Elizabeth Johns! New to dress shopping? No worries, here is the 411 on everything you need to know during Visiting Collection season!

We are always thrilled when our brides and gowns are featured in Philly Magazine and on PhillyMag.com. Our bride Stephanie had one of the most unique custom gowns we have had the pleasure of collaborating on! 

We are more than just wedding gowns! Elizabeth Johns was thrilled to sponsor Mrs. NJ Brintha Gardner at the Mrs. International Pageant 2019 this summer in West Virginia. Brintha needed 10 looks for an entire weeks worth of events - and we came through with an assortment of cocktail dresses, gowns, and even a wedding gown!

Your wedding gown is the most self expressive garment you will ever wear. Its also the most expensive! Your gown carries so much sentimental value, from saying YES to the dress, to walking down the aisle, saying vows to the love of your life, and celebrating with family and friends. It also carries the wear of the day, sweat and oils, an accidental spill, or taking outdoor photos that cause the bottom to dirty. 

We go through a lot of wedding photos here at Elizabeth Johns. We love looking at our brides in their gowns, and the choices they made for their ceremonies and receptions. A reoccurring trend we see is the bride and groom including their dog in the festivities!

Our gorgeous bride Emily stunned in Reem Acra at her Philly wedding to husband Colin. They got married at restaurant Harp & Crown and made sure it was a party with delicious food, drinks, and sweets! Check out the entire feature here to get more photos and details from their big day!

Being a bridesmaid brings up a lot of feelings. So much happiness for your friend or relative, excitement about the impending events, and of course the uncertainty of what you are going to have to wear!
