Dolly Pearl
Dolly Pearl designer Vi Hoang began her design career with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston and after several years of experience in interior and graphic design, she won a Corelle sponsored design contest. She moved from Texas where she was born and raised to New York City to pursue her lifelong dream of a career in fashion design. She studied fashion at FIT and started her own womenswear line called Dolly Pearl, an homage to her Southern roots and a nod to her admiration for country icon Dolly Parton. In September, 2010, Hoang won the Daily Candy "Start Small, Go Big" contest for fashion and she continues to expand her Dolly Pearl womenswear line.
