Designer Carlos Ramirez specializes in ethereal fabrics and lush textures with superb handwork detail to create his silhouettes In his own words, “Because I’m Latin, I think dresses should be curvy, shapely, and body conscious.” The overall effect is a sensual elegance, that’s all female and more art than mass production. On occasion, a more intricate Liancarlo gown may use 75 yards of finely cut fabric. And each Liancarlo dress is made by only one person, from start to finish.
